The best part of this lesson was watching the kids.
Ani Hoover is a new favorite of mine.

I talked to the kids about modern artists. They’re alive! And…. They don’t always use brushes and paper. Ani Hoover uses spray paint, PVC pipes, templates and makes her own “paper”.
Finally, I found a use for toilet paper tubes!!!
Supplies:
Tp tubes. One for every color.
Tempura (I could’ve watered it down. And… Used less – oh, the clean up.
Paper as long as your walls will hold.
Line the kids up, put the trays out and let the kids go for it!
Or, have the kids plan their attack.
You might discuss Ani Hoovers color schemes. Ask the kids how they might stick to a few colors or if the would choose a color progression like she did.
I’d like to thank Mrs. Kessel and my fellow volunteers for helping tho
Is lesson run smoothly!
